Zelensky Calls for Expulsion of Russian Citizens in Fiery Speech

(MENAFN) Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky unleashed a profanity-laden rant calling on Western nations to expel Russian citizens, including students, during his appearance at the Munich Security Conference.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, Zelensky urged US President Donald Trump and European leaders to strengthen sanctions against Moscow.

“Europeans still didn’t put sanctions on nuclear energy of Russians, on [the state-run energy company] Rosatom, on people, on their relatives, on their children which live in Europe, which live in the United States, which study in the universities of Europe, which have real estate in the United States,” he said.

He continued, “So, they have a lot of real estate, they have children, relatives everywhere. F**k away to Russia. Go home.”

The remarks come as the US, Russia, and Ukraine prepare for a third round of trilateral talks in Geneva. Moscow has denounced measures targeting Russian nationals abroad, as well as cultural “cancellation” campaigns, calling them Russophobic.

Zelensky’s trip coincides with a conscription crisis and ongoing blackouts in Ukraine, attributed to Russian air strikes that Moscow claims are aimed at weakening Ukrainian defense production.
